tattoos and wetsuits

Hey,

I tried searching for some related topics, but I was unable to do so. I just recently got a half sleeve done on my arm on August 28th. The tattoo has peeled and healed up well so far. There is still a bit of peeling though.

I understand that it is recommended to stay out of public pools, hot tubs, oceans, and water in general for quite some time in order to ensure the tattoo heals well, but I am itching to go kiteboarding hah. I have a full body wet suit that I wear everytime I go out, so my question would be is how long should one wait before going into a lake with a relatively fresh tattoo? The tattoo would not be submerged in the lake water for longer than a minute since i would be riding on top of the water most of the time, but it still would get a bit wet due to water trickling into the suit. I don't plan on going right away since it is still peeling a tiny bit. I was more thinking of going once there is no more peeling. Any suggestions or recommendations would be very helpful. I know I shouldn't go, and I won't be going very much, maybe 3 times over the next month once peeling stops since this time of year is very windy
